Church Partners

WGO exists to do three things well.
1.  To serve and reach the poor for Christ.
2.  To provide care for displaced or abandonded children.
3.  To provide opportunities for the North American Church to  experience the joy that comes through serving.   Click on the button below to see how you can help.

When churches bring teams to Honduras to partner with World Gospel Outreach, volunteers are impacted deeply and lives are transformed as people work together to serve the poor and marginalized.

The need is great and Honduran hearts are hungry for connection with North American Christians who desire to serve the least, the last and the lost in God’s Kingdom.

Your church can bless those in need in the impoverished nation of Honduras when you become a supporting church of World Gospel Outreach.

Ways your church can partner with World Gospel Outreach:

  • Add WGO to your annual missions budget
  • Invite a WGO Ambassador to speak to your congregation
  • Develop a team to serve in Honduras for a week
  • Partner with a Honduran church to provide medical care for over 2,000 people in one week
  • Provide medical, dental or educational supplies for visiting brigades
  • Sponsor a family at Rancho Ebenezer
  • Develop a sponsoring relationship with a Honduran church

Send A Team
Church

WGO partners with local Honduran churches to host Medical-Evangelism brigades, these churches provide the physical location and helpful staff for our teams from North America.  The North American Churches organize their members and many times include sister churches, other local area churches and small groups within their church to come on a medical/evangelism team.  These North American churches can send from 6-35 members, there is no minimum number of medical professionals needed, there also is no financial donation to the ministry over and above the per member cost of the brigade.

We recommend that churches, in order to include those who cannot go to Honduras, place bins in their churches for donations of vitamins, Tylenol and other over the counter medicines.  Also in the months leading up to the brigade, organize fund raising activities for support of their members.  During the brigade week the incoming churches provide prayer coverage while their team is in Honduras, and the team leader provides leadership, prayer guidance and accountability for all their team members while in the field.

Upon completion of the brigade week each church, Honduran and North American, leave each other tasked by the Lord for future service in the churches' local ministry and His other works in Honduras.  Honduran churches have an influx of local residents participating in their worship services and the North American churches report a greater interest and participation in their local ministries.
