Member Care Specialist

The job duty of the Member Care Specialist will report to the International Human Resource Manager of World Gospel Outreach. The primary focus of this position is to ensure the care of our staff, be a sounding board for people, be present as needed when teams are present, welcoming new missionaries and staff to the field. There will also be aspects that will include recruiting, assisting with the orientation of fund-raising missionaries and compiling permanent file information for the ministry. The position must either have or be willing to understand how to live cross culturally. This position requires you to live in Tegucigalpa, Honduras and be a fundraising or self supported missionary. You would need to have an understanding of missionary care and member care in an effort to maintain healthy staff. This position does not oversee the Honduran or Belizean employees or keep employee records for Honduran and Belizean nationals employed by WGO. This position also does not keep missionaries payroll records as those are the responsibility of the Finance Department. Knowing or learning Spanish is a must. This position is only available to fundraising North American Missionaries.
